It is important to consider the true meaning of Christmas and why it’s essential to put Jesus back into the center of this celebration. The commercialization of Christmas has led to an overwhelming focus on materialism, consumerism, and Santa Claus, overshadowing the significance of the biblical account of Jesus’ birth.

Zadok Ministers Fellowship has created an event known as “JESUS”, which is done during the month of December to first and foremost inform that Christmas is a religious holiday to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. 

In recent years, the true essence of Christmas has been diluted by commercial interests, leading to excessive emphasis on gift-giving, extravagant decorations, and Santa Claus as the central figure. All of these events or ideas should never overshadow the spiritual and religious significance of Christmas.

By focusing solely on the material aspects of Christmas, we risk losing sight of the values of love, compassion, and faith that Jesus Christ represents. 

Reintroducing Jesus into the heart of Christmas serves as a powerful reminder of the virtues he embodied and the message of hope and salvation that he brought to the world.

Furthermore, the commercialization of Christmas has created a culture of consumerism, where the emphasis is on spending and acquiring material possessions. This not only detracts from the true meaning of Christmas but also contributes to increased financial pressure and stress for many individuals and families.

Bringing Jesus back into Christmas encourages a shift in focus from material abundance to spiritual fulfillment, from commercialism to compassion, and from excessive consumption to charity and goodwill. It allows us to reconnect with the spiritual roots of the holiday and find deeper meaning in the act of giving, not just material gifts, but also kindness, empathy, and support to those in need.

Embracing the true spirit of Christmas by honoring the birth of Jesus Christ in our celebrations can foster a more meaningful and fulfilling holiday experience for individuals, families, and communities alike.
